Bundeena

Bundeena is a small town in Sydney. It's opposite the suburbs of Cronulla and Burraneer. You can drive the car or go to Cronulla by ferry go there. Ferry trips vary from 20mins to 30mins depending on the weather.

Bundeena is surrounded by the Royal National Park. There are many flora and fauna. When you walking there, you can see many wild birds and flowers, they are fantastic.

Bundeena is an Aboriginal word meaning 'noise like thunder'. At Jibbon Head, You can see some drawing on the rock. These engravings were carved by the Dharawal people, who lived in the Bundeena area up to 5000 years ago. Just look carefully to see, you can discover many animal's picutre on the rock, fish, kangaroo, birds.......

Bundeena is a beautiful place. Many people go there for their holidays. There you can go swimming, fishing or relax in the sunshine or camp. Many artists enjoy living there painting pictures, because Bundeena's scenery is spectacular.
